Although now primarily a fruit and arable farm, the farm has changed considerably over the fifty odd years that the Hodson Walker have been farming Coulter Lane Farm.  This reflects the changes in farming, the greatest differences being reflected in the current times and as such the farm is constantly evolving to reflect modern times.  Currently that is away from farming per se to diversification of all sorts.  As Coulter Lane Farm is on the urban fringe of Burntwood, approximately 30,000 people, the farm is trying to diversify in ways in which the local population can benefit whilst ensuring the longevity of the farm at the same time.  This includes renting out allotments, grazing for horses, clay pigeon shooting, see 'Whats New' to follow our ongoing diary of whats happening on the farm.

THE FARM has over recent years increased the fruit enterprise and offers customers many varieties of top quality fresh soft fruits which are available from early Summer through to Autumn, weather permitting.
